We took an algebra 2 test the other day in class. Our homework was to correct our tests. There is one problem I can't get.
9. Given the inequality 0>(greater than or equal to [I don't know how to get the symbol on the computer])a(x-p)(x+q) such that a<0 and a<p<q, determine the solution set for the inequality, justify your answer with a brief written explanation.
This problem really confused me. xD Any help is greatly appreciated. ^^
Oh and the first symbol is greater than or equal to. Sorry to add those parenthesis, but I don't know how to make that symbol on the computer.
