30 peices of cake shared between 7 friends.

1st friend gets 4 peices
2nd friend gets 6 peices
3rd friend gets 8 peices
4th friend gets 5 peices
5th friend gets 7 peices
6th friend gets 5 peices
7th friend gets 5 peices

The following week I have 21 peices of cake and I share them between the same 7 friends in the exact same way as when I had 30 peices.
How many peices of cake would each friend get?
Thank you for your time!:)

How did you get (4+6+8+5+7+5+5 =) 40 pieces out of 30?

How do you define "in the exact same way", since "the way" previously had been a number of pieces that you don't currently have.

When you reply, please include a clear listing of your thoughts and efforts so far. Thank you! ;)
