Ok, I need help with my POW.....PLEASE!! (The teacher gave us this problem on February 4th.)

Problem: Suppose these water lilies double everyday. If the pond became full on February 5th, then on what date was the pond a quarter full?

Think through it backwards.

The pond was full on February 4th.
It must have been half-full on February 3rd.
Hence, it was a quarter-full on February 2nd.
