If a > b and a (b - a) = 0, which of the following must be true?

I: a =0
II: b < 0
III: a - b > 0

(a) I only
(b) II only
(c) III only
(d) I and II only
(e) I, II and III

You know, of course, that for a(b - a) to be zero, either a = 0 or else b - a = 0. Since a > b, then obviously 0 > b - a. So what does that leave you?

Please be complete when you reply with your work and reasoning. Thank you! :D
