if 2/6 of all books at a library are nonfiction and 1/4 of the nonfiction blocks are biographies, then what fraction of the library,s books are nonfic

Are you TRULY having difficulty seeing that if 2/6 of a library’s books are non-fiction, then the answer to the question of ”what fraction of that library’s books are non-fiction” is 1/3?

I suspect that the problem is really

if 2/6 of all books at a library are nonfiction and 1/4 of the nonfiction blocks are biographies, then what fraction of the library's books are nonfiction and not biographies

According to the other post, in which the problem was put where it belongs, it is

If 2/6 of all books at a library are nonfiction and 1/4 of the nonfiction books are biographies, then what fraction of the library’s books are nonfiction biographies?

This is easier than your guess, but not entirely trivial.
