How do I graph this equation on a ti-83? I am struggling with this particular type of problem...I would like to learn how to do this on my calculator so that I will always know for future reference...any help is greatly appreciated!

Well, it's NOT an equation.....

You may want to make sure you've typed the problem correctly.

IF perchance it is supposed to be

6x² - 12x + 7y² + 42y - 57 = 0

then you might want to consider completing the square...you may be surprised to find that this turns out to be the equation of a particular type of conic section that is easily graphed once you get it in "standard form".

Calculators are not the solution for all of the world's math problems......
