Please help. Toyota dealers almost always sell 2018 Toyota Sienna L's for $32,075. This includes exactly the base trim cost of $30,750, the destination fee of $995, plus factory-authorized accessories worth $330 (carpeted floor mats for $290 and door sill protectors for $40), as seen below. In higher level trims, you see more variation in the factory-added accessories, but this is the base L.

However, this Toyota dealer dealer has the window sticker MSRP set at $32,062, $13 less than the usual $32,075:

What accessoires are included are not listed above. From experience,I know there are also no separate dealer add-ons. The fact is the were $317 worth of Toyota accessores added by the factory to that car above (not the usual $330), and I need to know what they are. These are listed on the car's Maroney label (window sticker). I asked the Internet salesperson/concierge for a PDF copy, but she got confused.

Please help me reverse engineer this total to see what the accessories are. Otherwise I will have to go in person at night time after closing, locate the car, and look at the sticker myself. Here are the authorized accessories from the Bulid a Toyota site to choose gfrom. Please choose the accessories below that add up to exactly $317. Some of the accessories are mutually exclusive (two of the same item are not allowed. so, for example, you cannot add all-weather floor liners with an all-weather floor liner package, since you would have two sets of floor liners then):

One possibility is 49, 79, 90, 99. Another: 30, 40, 49, 59, 139. There may be more.
My approach: pick 3 items ending in 9 to get 7 in ones. Then add items ending in 0 to get to 317.
Considering the solution is not unique (there are even 2 items for $49), I would call a manager or someone who is less confused.

Thank you lev888. I figured three 9's added up would end in a 7!

You're worried about $13 on a car selling for over $32,000

Nope, not worried at all. I just want to know why the price is that way. What accessoruies does the car have, and what doesn't it have.

The amount is irrelevant. Being an old academic, I view this as a complex algebra problem that needs to be solved. That's why I chose a math forum to post this.

My last post. Sorry to post three times in a row.

I went and saw the car today to get to the bottom of this issue, since the manager did not respond to my email. In this case, the Toyota dealer added their own accessories, so I made a mistake in my post above. This is very rare for Toyota dealers to do in this area.

accent stripe - $99
door edge guards - $69
wheel lip molding - $149
