I am taking some online high school classes and I am so super stuck on my algebra, no matter how much I re-read the directions and instructions I just don't get it. I would appreciate if someone could show me the answer to this problem AND also how to do it so I know what I am doing... thank you!

Use the Pythagorean Theorem to find the distance between this pair of points: A(-2, -6) and B(1, -2).

Use the Pythagorean Theorem to find the distance between this pair of points: A(-2, -6) and B(1, -2).
The Pythagorean Theorem tells us that the distance between
\(\displaystyle (x_1,y_1)~\&~(x_2,y_2)\) is \(\displaystyle \sqrt{(x_1-x_2)^2+(y_1-y_2)^2}\)
