Unfortunately, if all of the lessons and explanations and worked examples you've encountered thus far haven't yet helped to explain whatever aspect of the point-slope formula you're working on, then I'm afraid it is highly unlikely that there is anything we could do to clear up whatever it is with which you are having difficulty, especially since we cannot teach lessons within this environment.
You might want to consider backing up a class or two, thus studying the underlying previous material. That way, when you encounter this topic again, you'll be prepared and able to absorb the new material.
