I have a couple of problems I need either help on or the answers too. Thanks. This is my first time using this website so if anything looks wrong from how ya'll do it I am sorry.
Simplify by removing factors of 1-
(m^2-4)/(m+2)^2
also,
Multiply & simplify
(6a^3)/(11t4) * (121t^6)/(36a)
as well as,
Divide & Simplify
(4)/(x) divided by (32)/(x)
and last,
Divide & Simplify
(-5+5z)/(2) divided by (49z-49)/(4)
If you can just help me with one I would greatly appreciate it. I do not know where to start. i am going to school online and it is very hard for me to learn that way I am finding out. These problems are from a University of Phoenix class Mat 117. Thanks!

You did not say WHAT you were supposed to do.

And your post does not have valid mathematical expressions - please check your post and correct those - and -

Please share your work with us, indicating exactly where you are stuck - so that we may know where to begin to help you.

What you posted is VERY unclear.

Please repost, using brackets to identify numerators and denominators.

Do not use "x" for multiplcation sign, use "*".

Also, what are you suppose to do: simplify?

And are you able to do "some" work with these,
or do you have "no idea"?

Finally, are you a student attending math classes?
(I made the changes you said to. do you think you can help me?

I have a couple of problems I . . .

tosha2603,

you are to post one problem per thread.

Anyway, "a couple of problems" should mean two problems,
not the number of problems you presented. Come clean
about how many of what you intend for the reader.

It's basically a bait-and-switch tactic you employed for the
number of problems.

Divide & Simplify

*(4)/(x) divided by (32)/(x)

These parentheses are correct in their places,
but they are unnecessary. However, the parentheses
(or square brackets or braces) I placed around the
denominator in the last line down there are required.

If you can just help me with one...

*becomes

4/x multiplied by x/32 =

(4x)/(32x) = ?

Suggestion:

Write this last fraction in a vertical style on a piece of paper
and see if it is easier to reduce it in that form.
