My question is:
I intend to make $145 from a bet with an odd/value of 1.63 - what will be my stake/investment?

Please show workings clearly. I need the formula to solve future similar problems.

You will need to show us what work you've been able to do on this, even if it wrong. We aren't going to just do this for you.

If I need to make a profit of $100 from a bet of an odd/value of 1.50, I know my stake will be $200 (because the odd is divisible by two without remainder).

What I need is a drawn up formula for solving problem like this especially when the odd is not divisible by two like the initial question asked (a quick step by step guide)

How did you calculate that - please show your work......

I had to multiply $200 by 1.50 odds which will give me $300 thereby achieving my target profit of $100.

Now how will I come around an answer if the odd isn't divisible by two without remainder.

In the solution/problem above, the "odd" you had used is 1.5.

1. 5 is not divisible by 2 -

or did you mean something else?

200*1.50 - 200 = 100
You want to know what the stake should be with 1.63 odds and $145 profit.
Plug in the new values:
x*1.63 - x = 145.
Solve for x.

200*1.50 - 200 = 100

Solve for x.
I posted here for solution, asking me to solve for x isn't fair. If I knew how to do that you wouldn't see my post here.

Show me every step up till the answer. So I can use that formula for future reference.

Your sense of entitlement is just galling to me. Our volunteer gave an equation that you can use to solve your problem - yet you think that is UNFAIR!!
