hey guys
I am not really sure on how to solve the Gaussian function in 1d and 2D using the Laplace transform and the Fourier transform like I understand the method of solving and all but I need like a real-life application where u can see the use of 1D and 2D Gaussian function

Hi. One possible example would be to solve the heat equation using the Fourier transform. The heat equation looks like (see attached file)
