The first step is to solve
1/3x = 7/8
I can't do it 'cause I don't know if you mean
(1/3)*x or
1/(3x)
It will be true on one side of the answer but false on the other
Correction:
you can multiply
by 3 if it is (1/3)*x
to get
x<21/8
or
by 8x/7 if it is 1/(3*x)
to get
8/21<x which is
x>8/21 when x is > 0 and
x<8/21 when x is > 0 but that just says when x < 0 so (@=infinity)
