A bicyclist is 4 miles from home,
riding away from home at 8 miles per hour.
(a)
Make a table that shows the bicyclist’s distance D
from home after 0, 1, 2, 3, and 4 hours.
(b)
Write a formula that calculates D after x hours.
(c)
Use your formula to determine D when x = 3
hours. Does your answer agree with the value
found in your table?
(d)
Find x when D = 22 miles. Interpret the result.

for question 1:
Use distance = speed * time

Using the above formula:

How far the cyclist travel in 0 hours? → = 8 * 0 = 0

How far the cyclist travel in 1 hour? → = 8 * 1 = 8 mi

How far the cyclist travel in 2 hours?

How far the cyclist travel in 3 hours?

continue and make your table........
