I need help with polynomials

the problem is (12^x3 - ^x2) - (18^x3 - 3^x2 + 6)
please help me on how to solve this. The more detailed the better. Thank You.

Like Terms

12 - 18

-1 - (-3)

etc.

Just use this guy, "^", for exponentiation. x^3 would be x-cubed. x^2 would be x-squared.
