Does anyone know how to factor equations I could really use the help

YOU have got to help us to help you!
Show us a problem.
Then we can help!
No one here is a mind reader.
We don't know where you are.

Do you mean simple factoring of polynomials, such as 2x + 6 = 2(x + 3)?

Do you mean factoring of quadratics, such as x2 + 5x + 6 = (x + 2)(x + 3)?

Do you mean special factoring, such as differences of squares and/or sums and differences of cubes?

Do you mean generalized factoring of polynomials (that is, "bigger" polynomials than are mentioned above)?

Do you mean something else?

We'll be glad to try to find links to lessons from which you can study, but it would be helpful if you narrowed your request. Thank you! :D

I need to know how to factor polynomials like this one:
6x^2-x-15 and 4x^2-25.

Thanxs

The first one is called a "quadratic" (because it's of degree 2) and a "trinomial" (because it has three terms). The second one is a "difference of squares" quadratic; it is also called a "binomial" (because it has two terms).

Since we cannot replace the missing classroom instruction and/or textbook chapter, please make use of some of the great resources available online:

. . . . .Google results for "simple factoring" (to get you started)

. . . . .Google results for "factoring quadratics" (for exercises like 6x2 - x - 15)

. . . . .Google results for "special factoring" (for exercises like 4x2 - 25 = (2x)2 - (5)2)

Have fun! :D
