The problem is this: 49_576=25_25. The underscores are little gray boxes in my book. We are doing rounding right now so they need to be rounded. The title of my lesson is: ESTIMATE PRODUCTS
Objective:use rounding to estimate products.

I'm sorry...we can't help tonight unless you can be more specific about what the "little gray boxes" represent.

That said, I will note that 49 + 576 = 625

And 25*25 = 625, as well.
