I need help starting this radical equation

I know that once I get this problem started I will be able to finish but for some reason my brain isn't working right today.

Problem is P=1000*sqrt t + 2500

WHAT are you suppose to do; solve for t ? If so:
sqrt(t) = (P - 2500) / 1000
Finish it.
