please help! THanks so much! (the first fraction ended with 16 and 15; the second fraction begins with x and x) It scrunched them together...

I think this is what you are trying to simplify:

\(\displaystyle \displaystyle\frac{8x^2-16}{x^2+8x+15}\cdot\frac{x^2-9}{x-2}\)
