Alright, I'm in geometry and we have to solve these stupid equations... HELP!!!!! Ok, the equation is 2a+4(7+5a) I need to simplify it but I need it in step-by-step stuff... can someone help me please???

Are you solving an equation, of which "2a + 4(7 + 5a)" is a part, or are you simplifying an expression? In either case, how far have you gotten? (You've multiplied the 4 through the parentheses, and... then what?)

Do you see an equal to sign there? If not, then it is not an equation!
You have to know the basics to get help!
Do you even know what the question is asking?
