Ok, i am a little confused with these growth and decay word problems and i wanted to get help on the formula.

here is the problem:
The "half-life" (the time it takes to reduce the initial amount of half the initial amount) of uranium is 1000 years. If 50 grams of uranium is sealed in a box, how much is left after 10000 years? How long will it take to reduce to 1% of the original amount? How long will it take until all of the riginal mass of uranium is gone?

What type of equation is followed by these types of growth/decay phenomenon?

Ya, because that is just so helpful for me. whatever

The most helpful thing for you would be your own actions - open your textbook/class-notes....
