Hello everyone
Got a problem that I am working on that I need a bit of a hand with.
For this problem I am using the data below.
CL MID----FREQ
21.5--------1
25.5--------1
29.5--------6
33.5--------8
37.5--------4
The Sum of the Frequency is 20
-------------
The next thing from my understanding is to find the Midpoint*Freq for each part
so we have this
21.5
25.5
177
268
150
Then to find the Mean Frequency Distribution we take the sum of that .. which is 642 then divide by the sum of the frequency which is 20.
My final total is 32.1
The book I am using is telling me I should have got 31.7 for my anwser, can anyone tell me if I missed something in this or if I skiped a step?
thanks in advance
