Hey guys, I have a few problems that I am stuck on on my homework assignment. :?

(1) use f(x) = x2(squared) + 1 , g(x)= 2x+3

evaluate g(f(x))

(2) The cost (in dollars) of producing x air conditioners is C=g(x)=600 +45x

find a formula for the inverse function g ^ -1 (-1 is inverse, couldn't type it) (C)

(3) A circular oil slick is expanding with radius, r in yards, at time t in hours, given by r=2t - 0.1t2 (squared), for t in hours,

0 < t < 10 (both have equal under)

find a formula for the area in square yards, A = f(t), as a function of time

You didn't get the first three problems on your homework? That is VERY odd.

Please give an example of a problem that you could solve.

1) This is a substitution.
2) This is an algebraic manipulation.
3) This is just like 1)
