If f(x) = 3-2x+x^2, then (f(x+k)-f(x))/k=?

I tried solving it by substituting f(x) of the second equation by 3-2x+x^2 but I don't know what to do with f(x+k)

f(x+k) = 3 - 2(x+k) + (x+k)^2.
