Please help me with this problemRam's lab assignment was to collect data on some topics and find linear equation to approximate his data. he decided to look at the life expectancy of males living in the US. he found that in 1950 the life expectancy was 65 years and in 1970 it was 68 years old. find a linear equasion that would fit Rams data points. use the model to predict the life expectancy in males in the year 2000

if could please give me some hints or steps so that i can understand this better or links that could help me with the equasion, that would be great!

If the book is as badly written as the exercises (lack of capitalization, misspellings, etc), it's no wonder you're confused.

This exercise, in effect, gave you two points of the form "(year, life expectancy)". Take those two points and use whatever formula they gave you to find the equation of the line passing through them.

If the book neglected to cover this topic, or covered it poorly, please specify that you are looking for links to lessons on how to do this.

Thank you.

Eliz.
