okay so the problems are 24 is 60% of what number??

6 is 40% of what number???

20% of a number is 18.

Can someone plz explain!

24 = .6*x
x=24/.6 = 240/6 = 40
Can you do the rest?

I think i get it now for 6 is 40% of what number.........would u do

6=.4*x
x=6 divided by 4=60 divided by 4=15???

That's correct except for one typo.
x=6 divided by 4=60 divided by 4=15
x=6 divided by .4=60 divided by 4=15
