When x^2-5x+3c is divided by x-3 the remainder is -12. What is the value of c?

I am not sure if this would fall under this catagory. If you can, thanks for helping.

\(\displaystyle \frac{x^2 -5x + 3c}{x-3} \ = \ x \ - 2 + \frac{3c - 6}{x-3}\)

What would be your next step?
