Today is first day of school. Teacher gave a paper with 4 questions on it, but I'm embarrassed that I do not know how to do it. The questions are:
1.List 5 examples of prime numbers that are also rational numbers
2.List 5 examples of composite numbers that are also rational numbers
3.Can a number be prime and irrational?Explain
4.Can a number be composite and irrational?Explain

Please explain to me the answer you give, I am searching the internet but it is not helping me. I am afraid I cant even get understand first day work I will fail this year.

Primality is defined on the whole numbers. The rationals are the fractions. Yes, technically all whole numbers are fractions, since you can put them over "1" (for instance, 3 = 3/1), but I have never heard of discussing primality in the context of rationality or irrationality.

Since an irrational is a non-terminating decimal, it certainly isn't a whole number, and never can be, so considerations of "prime" or "composite" are moot.

I have no idea what your teacher is trying to get at....
