Hello everyone,
I have a question; there is a control group consisting of 9500 people, picked 475 people, and there is a pilot consisting of 500 people, picked 23 people. How do you do Hypothesis testing?
Here's how I do that; please correct me if I did wrong; I calculated with excel.
Thank you.
Thomas.

Alpha | 0,1 |
P-bar | 475/9500=0,05 |
P | 23/500=0,046 |
Z | (0,05-0,046)/sqrt(0,046*(1-0,0460)/(9500+500))=1,909443834 |
P-Value | 1-Normdist(1,909;0;1;TRUE)=0,02810243 |
Thank you.
Thomas.
