I found some problems finding the orientation of some graph.

1) y^2 = 9(x^2) + 20x + 3

How to identify its orientation and the locaation of its vertices?

2) sqrt(x^4 + 8x^3) = sqrt(9x^2 + 20x + 3)

How to identify the parabola's orientation? up or down?

thank you

I'm sorry, but I don't understand. What do you mean by having "found" these exercises...?

Meanwhile, the nature of each conic is probably best interpreted after rearranging each equation into its "standard" form. So use what you've learned in this regard.

If you get stuck, or are having difficulty with interpreting your rearranged equations, please reply showing all of your work and reasoning. Thank you! :D
