Huge number of SPAMS

This morning I removed 20 posts as SPAMS - a record for me.

Can we ban "foreign scripts" (like Chinese or Cyrillic) from the forum? That may automatically filter out some!!

Out of 20 this morning, I encountered only 2 "gibberish" english SPAM.

I've tried schemes like that before with little success. Instead, I just signed up for a service that may help -- it compares posts automatically against a massive (and intelligent) database of known spam from other sites, and then flags suspected spam from new users. It won't be deleted automatically, but should only show up for moderation and not the general public. Hope it helps....
