Just to clarify, is your equation one of the following:

. . . . .\(\displaystyle \mbox{a. }\, \dfrac{3}{7}\, -\, \dfrac{4}{2y}\, =\, 15\)

. . . . .\(\displaystyle \mbox{b. }\, \dfrac{3}{7}\, -\, \left(\dfrac{4}{2}\right)y\, =\, 15\)
