This is a math help forum not a homework site. Please read the posting guideline so you can post correctly.

I would try multiplying the integrand by (sqrt(x) + sinx)/(sqrt(x) + sinx). No promises with this hint. I actually wonder if this has an easy solution. Did the original problem have limits? Can you post entire problem?

It is just an integral that i got as a challenge and wanted some ideas. I guess i will try somewhere else. Thanks though

Mathematica can't come up with a solution for it so this one won't be easy. Where's it from? What makes you think it has a closed form solution?

Wolframalpha provided results only for definite integral - like error-function.
