i have read all theory material of continuity and discontinuity but i could not understand its problems.Actually i could not understand that how to start for solving these problems.
I am following "calculus" by Howard Anton which is part of my course.so please help!

Where exactly you are stuck with the first problem.

Start with sketching the function - say for a domain -10≤ x≤10.

Tell us what you do find.
