Hi folks. I have this problem:

int -2x(1)*e^x(t) dt, where x(1) is x(t) when t=1

Apparently, the answer is [-2x(1)*e^x(t)] / x , but I'm not sure how it came to that. I'd appreciate it if someone explains the integration process in this problem to me. Thanks.

Didn't we do this one a week or two ago? There is NO general solution for an arbitrary function "x(t)".

In other words, x(1) is a constant? That makes it easier, but please refer to the previous comment.
