Hello,

how to get the factor of this cubic equation:

2x^3-3x^2-3x+7 = f(x)

I have tried to get the zero with this range of numbers [1,7,-1,7] but never got it.

I noticed it is odd number. that is what make me confused a bit.

Did you try plotting it?
 
This function does not have a rational root.

It has one real root estimated to be = - 1.39015
