How to find parabola points

:?: :!: when given the points (2,-2), (-1,16), (0,6) how would you find the equasion that all those points pass through? any information is greatly appreciated
 
One method would be to plug the three given points into the general equation for a parabola, "ax<sup>2</sup> + bx + c = y", and solve the resulting system of equations for "a", "b", and "c".
