I checked the solutions for this on another site. They are all complex. Are you sure this is the correct equation? I ask because I would expect students to give only approximate solutions to this. And, in general, you should write some work or questions you have regarding the problem.

If this is over the real numbers, you can show, pretty easily, that your polynomial is always positive. For the complex case, use: \(\displaystyle x^4-x^3+x^2-x+1 = \dfrac{x^5+1}{x+1}\)
