The local seven-digit telephone numbers in inverness california have 669 as the first three digits. how many different phone numbers are possible in inverness.?

I think the answer is 10000.

Correct: 6690000 to 6699999 inclusive = 10000; you get the job as Phone Number Assignor :wink:
