how do i do this?

This goes over a period of a year and a half. Why are you only referring to "Sept, Oct., Nov., Dec., and Jan."? To find the (average) usage per day, calculate the usage (3.419- 0.100= 3.319) and divide by the number of days.

Since this bill start on May 14, 2012, there are 31- 14= 17 days left in May. There are then 30 days in June, September, and November, 31 days in July, August, October, and December so 30(3)+ 31(4)= 234 days left in 2012. There are 365 days in 2013 and then 31 days in January.
