The question is
"Write the equations in the form Ax+By=C
a) Line with slope 1/2 and though (1,-2)."

Any help

Hint: The general equation of a line with a slope m and through a point(x1,y1) is:

y - y1 = m * (x - x1)

From the \(\displaystyle Ax+By=C\) form we know that the slope is \(\displaystyle \frac{-A}{B}\) if \(\displaystyle B\ne 0\).
If \(\displaystyle (p,q)\) is on the line then \(\displaystyle pA+qB=C\).
Can you use that?
