how do I graph these equations?

Please help me with these graphs |y-4| + 2x + 16 = 0 X is greater than or equal to -9

And y= X - [X] + 1 X is greater than or equal to 2 and less than or equal to 13

Apparently the square brackets mean the same thing as int(x) but I don't know what that means.

What is the precise definition of |y|? Then what is the definition of |y-4|? What does [x] mean? We are willing to help you but you need to make an attempt. Just look up these definitions in you textbook.
