1. If A(2,-3), B(-4,4), find the length of the line segment AB.
2. If A(2,-3), B(-4,4), find the gradient of AB.
3. If A(2,-3), B(-4,4), find the coordinates of the mid-point of AB.

I'm really struggling to find out how to do this/my answers are coming up as not even one of the options as the answer. I've always struggled with anything to do with graphing etc. Does anyone know the correct answer to these? I'm going crazy lol.

Thank you!

Hello cheav. You could answer these questions using formulas, instead of graphing.

1. Distance formula
2. Gradient formula
3. Midpoint formula

Each of these formulas require you to substitute the (x,y) coordinates of the two given points. Can you try? Please show your work.

If you're unable to find a formula in your materials, you may google it.
