How come Ln...

\(\displaystyle ln(\sqrt 2)=\frac{1}{2}ln2\)

I can't understand how that Works. Anyone?

Do you know that:

√2 = 21/2

and

ln(am) = m * ln(a)

Those two statements are used to calculate the identity you have been given.
