im in a ap class in 8th grade and already took the test over the chapter that covered things like that(i think i prolly bombed it), but i need the satisfaction of knowing....

The theorems get applied according to the information you have, and you take that information in order. If, in going around the triangles, you have congruent angles, then congruent sides, then congruent angles, then you'd use ASA. If, on the other hand, you have congruent angles, you know nothing about the next side, then congruent angles again, and then congruent sides, you'd use AAS.

Work your way around the triangles, noting what you know to be congruent, to figure out which rule to use.
