How do I find n in the equation:

(1.005)^(-36n)
_____________ = 0.21475206
(0.99)^(-4n)

You could start by multiplying both sides of the given equation by:

(0.99)^(-4n)/0.21475206

Then, after applying some properties of logarithms and factoring, the resulting equation becomes:

4n * [9 ln(1.005) - ln(0.99)] = -ln(0.21475206)

You can solve this equation for n, yes?

I welcome specific questions.
