Every day during the Sonoma County Fair, 14 horse races are run. From time to time I have been known to attend these races and place small wagers on each race. My most common bet is called the "$2 combination," which is where i choose one horse to finish in the money (finish 1st, 2nd, or 3rd). Through careful analysis, i have determined that the horse favored to win in any given race will finish in the money with a probability of .67. During the most recent Sonoma County Fair, I attended the races on one day. I placed a "2$ combination" bet on the favorite horse in each race. Determine the following.

A) The probability that I won exactly 5 of my bets.
B) The probability that i won every bet.
C) The probability that i won none of my bets.
D) The probability that I won at least 2 of my bets.

Oh thanks

So

A) 14!/((14-5)!5!)(.67)^5(.33)^9 = .0125

Is that correct?

and for

D) P(x>2) = 1- P(0) + P(1)
= 1 - 14!/((14-0)0!)(.67)^0(.33)^14 + 14!/((14-1)1!)(.67)^1(.33)^13

=.999

Right?
