Question: It is estimated that each cigarette a person smokes shortens that person's life by the amount of time or he took to smoke it plus ten minutes.
a) Write an algebraic rule that determined the number of minutes, m, a person's life is shortened by smoking c cigarettes per day for y years. Assume each cigarette takes about 6 minutes to smoke.

b) If a person smokes 15 cigarettes per day for 10 years, by how much has that person's life been shortened?
