I am having trouble finding the solution to the homogeneous system of linear equations:
2x-2y+z=0
-2x+y+z=0

I have come up with x=-3/4t, y=t,z=1/2t

PLEASE HELP!

Generally, when you have 3 unknowns(in this case x,y and z) and 2 equations you cannot find a solution to the problem since you need to have as many equations as unknowns.

If the given problem is correct, then at most you will get the values in terms of each other(for e.g 4x = 3y) which is what I am getting.

Please post any further data that you may have regarding this problem.
