Solve for x: 3x ? (x+6) = 5x + 6(2 ? x)


I have done millions of these question's in the past three weeks and I am just stumpped on where to even start on this problem. I think I have done them so much they are making me stupid

If you've done millions, I doubt you'd be stumped by this one...
Step 1: 3x - x - 6 = 5x + 12 - 6x
Step 2: 2x - 6 = 12 - x

Can you finish it?
